A Trade of Hearts

This is a wattpad book… and it was so awesome that I found it worth reviewing on my blog. The main thing I found myself fond of this book was it’s writting. There’s nothing billionaire clichè in the story of this book.

You can find the book on this link…

So… it starts by introducing us to the protagonists… Vanessa Catherine Hudson, who was in competition of becoming the CEO of Hudson Enterprises, and Adrian Greys, the CEO of Greys and Co.

Their first meet wasn’t an ideal one that we  would’ve expected… but it all starts with the small fantasies of revenge and evening the odds. Vanessa, who hadn’t moved on from the tragic events of her pasts, deals with business politics, betrayal, competition with her brother, friendships, and trying her best to be the part of her own family…

Whereas on the other hand, Adrian… was still coming to an understanding with the event of his sister coming back home with a child in her arms, and divorced, making him lose faith in all kinds of romantic relationships. Therefore giving him the title of Playboy.

This book narrates the story in different POVs as the plot moves further, giving us a wider view of getting to know each character in their own way. We get to witness how a playful and “evening the odds” relationship of Vanessa and Adrian grows into friendship and then more.

I personally think that the book couldn’t have been written any better, it was an overall perfect impression of character development in the contemporary world. The book also involves sub-genres of crime and ChickLit (a type of genre which involves the perspective of the heroine in the book)… therefore always keeping us indulged in it. So… in short, yeah! I loved it.

Do tell me your first impression of this book! Also I am looking for book recommendations (already? I know.), so feel free to drop any if you have 🙂

(I don’t know how many of you would be wondering that I like all the books I have posted… but I can’t help it 😉 Maybe some stories could’ve been better… but I’m still getting to them… so, I suggest you all don’t expect a highly critical review of any book anytime soon…)
