Turtles all the way down

So… John Green… idk how to start describing this book. It’s very relatable and beautifully written. The book is about a 16 year old girl Aza Holmes, suffering with immense anxiety and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).

Aza, who was struggling in her daily life with anxiety over small things, hears some news related to an old friend, Davis Pickett. Aza and her best friend Daisy start investigating on the case of Davis’s father gone missing. Starting the small journey turns out to be a rather more wild and big path than they expected. All the pressed and kept away emotions started bubbling up, old friendships were reignited, the current friendships were hitting rocky roads. As Aza and Davis got closer, the investigation was about to come to an end.

Everything that happened in the mid-way took an unexpected turn, leaving the book with a bittersweet ending. (Spoiler: Don’t worry, John Green doesn’t kills off anyone in the end in this oneπŸ‘€πŸ˜‚.)

I would recommend this book to every type of person on the planet… (not exaggerating). Though the book is technically young adult and romance… the small elements of mystery, humour, friendships, and other genres make it all the more exciting and special.
